Glenn and His Fluffers Bring Music City to Their Feet! A Kweevak.com Rock Report by Jason Minton The Exit Inn is a unique venue to Nashville and is known for featuring diverse artists. It was no surprise to find one of my all time favorite artists Glenn Tilbrook with the Fluffers slotted for Wednesday, May 11.
 Glenn Tilbrook on stage at the Exit Inn in Nashville. Glenn and the band hit the stage cranking out the original solo material from the new CD Trans-Atlantic Ping Pong like 'Neptune' and 'Lost in Space'. Then out of left field he covered the classic 'These Boots Are Made for Walkin' … how cool! It came off so well. Before we go further, I must mention how the Fluffers totally complimented Glenn. There was a fabulous keyboard player and a groovin' gal bass guitarist. Glenn had completely captured the audience as usual, so what better time to rock out with some "Squeeze" tunes. They played 'Tempted', 'Up the Junction', and 'Nail Through My Heart' to name a few. If you want your audience to totally come off their seat, Glenn knew 'Pulling Mussels From A Shell' would do the trick and it did. Even I couldn't help from standing and crooning along with the catchy tune.
 Tilbrook and Stephen Large on keyboards heat up the joint. The highlight of the evening for me was definitely the second set. As best I can describe, here goes... Glenn and The Fluffers emerged with this boost of energy – running from the stage to the bar. After all had climbed the bar stools and had their footing, everyone delivered an acoustic version of 'Black Coffee in Bed' and 'Goodbye Girl' with complete audience participation singing the "ooohs-ooohs". It was incredible! "Cheers then" as Glenn would say. Time for the evening to end and just like icing on the cake, Glenn closed the curtains with and encore of 'Take Me I'm Yours'. I couldn't have written a better set list myself. Thanks to Kweevak and the Gang for sending me on this mission. Hope you like the photos and don't overlook the backstage classic of Glenn and I.
