The CD-version of LIVE: SITTIN' IN AGAIN AT THE SANTA BARBARA BOWL features more than 70 minutes of timeless pop-rock from the singing-songwriting tandem that helped define the laid-back '70s sound. The performance includes virtually every song from Loggins and Messina's stunning 1972 debut, Sittin' In including the classics "Vahevala," "House on Pooh Corner," "Danny's Song" and the song trilogy: "Lovin' Me/Make A Woman Feel Wanted/Peace of Mind." Cherry-picking 14 of the best moments from the concert, the CD also includes the #4 Billboard Pop hit "Your Mama Don't Dance" along with fan favorites "Angry Eyes" from 1972's Loggins and Messina and "Watching the River Run" from 1973's Full Sail.

The DVD-version of LIVE: SITTIN' IN AGAIN AT THE SANTA BARBARA BOWL contains the entire concert and features more than two hours of music in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound, DTS and Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo. The live-DVD is packed with 20 songs that encompass the duo's career and includes the DVD-only tracks "Kind Woman," "Be Free," "Sailin' The Wind," "Long Tail Cat," "Thinking Of You," "Growin'" and "You Need A Man." The DVD also features a bonus six-song performance by Loggins and Messina recorded in 1973 for the popular television show, Midnight Special.

When the two first met, Loggins was an acclaimed songwriter and Messina was a renowned record producer and former member of Buffalo Springfield and Poco. The hit-making duo joined forces in 1970 while Messina was producing Loggins' solo debut. The album quickly became a collaborative effort that yielded Sittin' In. Certified-gold and on the charts for two years, the album was the first of many gold and platinum albums they would recorded during their short, but productive career. Loggins and Messina released their last album, Native Sons, in 1976 before going their separate ways.
